How it works

Tutoring sessions vary based on the subject matter and the needs of each individual student. Tutoring requires active input from both the student and the tutor. Our tutors wants to see students succeed - not just on one test or assignment, but in all of their courses.  To make sure that students are learning the material, we expect them to work on their own.

Tutoring sessions are structured to be as interactive as possible allowing the tutor to interactively discuss the subject matter, identify gaps in learning, work through examples and provide students with additional exercises to ensure that the subject matter has been mastered. We will provide you with feedback of the tutoring sessions by means of a FREE session report that is sent out after each lesson.

We have tutors in and around Cape Town and in most areas of the Western Cape. Should we not have a suitable tutor for you, we will gladly source new tutors to suit your specific tutoring needs. Tutoring usually happens on weekdays, but our tutors are also available on weekends and during school holidays.

How to get started

STEP 1: Connect with Us

  • Provide us with your area and basic tutoring requirements by filling out our Get a Tutor form.

  • We will be in touch shortly to obtain your preferred days and times for tutoring as well as any special tutoring requirements.

STEP 2: Tutor Assigned

  • We will assign one of our excellent pre-screened tutors based on your specific tutoring needs.

  • Select one of our pre-payment options (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) and make your first payment.

We will connect you to one of our excellent pre-screened tutors.

STEP 3: Tutoring starts

  • Send us a list of topics you would like to cover in your first lesson.

  • You are now ready to start your first lesson. Tutoring will start immediately.

  • We will keep informed about your child's progress every step of the way with FREE session reports after each lesson.
